About Me
Jazz Buchanan is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Elgol, on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
Inspired by Scottish landscapes, sunsets and animals (highland cows in particular), she provides illustrations, caricatures, graphic design and merchandise which is stocked in various shops on and around the Isle of Skye.
With over 20 years of experience, starting at a young age with caricatures of school teachers to working in marketing and sales, she is now running her own small business from home: Designing and creating a wide range of creative gifts and greeting cards.

Hereβs my 2025 in photos: It was a year of having fun developing new ideas and products, but the absolute highlight of my year was helping to establish the Elgol Exhibition in the Elgol Primary School - A project that is very close to my heart as a local mum.
Many evenings and weekends were spent tidying up, rearranging and creating information and displays. And it was wonderful to see the positive response from locals and visitors from all around the world.
The Elgol Exhibition aims to save our local school for our children and it raises funds for the Elgol & Strathaird Community Trust to carry out important community projects. Iβm so proud of what we were able to achieve so far in 2025 and it will only get better in 2026! π
